The Choquequirao Wasi Camp is located in the district of Cachora – Abancay – Apurimac, Capuliyoc sector on the side of the Apurimac canyon in front of the snowy Padreyoc.
Transportation arrives at our Camp, it is the end of the road called Capuliyoc, 2 hours from Abancay or 4 hours from Cusco.

🍜🍛FOOD:
Regarding food, we have some dishes to choose from, between 10 and 20 soles depending on the dish you choose. If you want to reserve a special dish such as a whole guinea pig, you must confirm in advance the price of 60 soles.
Hot and cold drinks, minimarket area.
💡⚡WE DO NOT HAVE REGULAR ELECTRICAL ENERGY. ONLY ENERGY WITH SOLAR PANEL WHICH IS LIMITED (It is recommended to bring well-charged portable chargers to charge cell phones since we charge only when it is sunny. At night it gets a little complicated).
🔌🪫We load any equipment during the day. At night it is already limited.
🚙🚕WAYS TO GET THERE FOR FREE:
📍📍If you are in the city of Abancay, there are cars that leave for the Cachora district, the Whereabouts is on Av. Nuñes and the price per person is 15 soles. Once in Cachora you will have to take a taxi to our camp for another half hour and the price of the taxi is 50 soles. (BEWARE, it’s not per person, it’s the race).
📍📍If you are in the city of Cusco,
1️⃣First option: you must take the interprovincial bus that goes to Abancay and get off at the Paradero Ramal de Cachora. The price per person is 25 soles and the cars leave at 6 am and 1 pm. Once there, take a taxi to our camp, the cost is between 80 to 100 soles. (EYE, it’s not per person, it’s the race).
2️⃣Second option: There are other cars that leave from Paradero Arcopata to the Curahuasi district every half hour 25 soles per person and from there the race to our camp is approximately 120 soles.
3️⃣Third option: There are cars that leave located in the Pachacutec avenue in front of the Confraternidad del Cusco market to Abancay, the price per person is 50 soles.
You must get off at the Cachora branch and from there a car ride costs between 80 to 100 soles to our camp.
